A LITTLE LEAVEN August 27, 2020

This is the 100th for this series, this year.  I am thankful to you, my dear reader, for making it this far.  I must admit that the things you have read over the past many days may not make perfect sense the whole time, and undoubtedly not grammatically correct all the time, but I hope that it has given you some measure of encouragement, hope and comfort.

My voice is a tiny droplet in an ocean of noises online.  We may have never met in real life, we may not know each other personally, but believe me when I say I pray the best for you, in health, in career, in personal and work relationships, in spiritual growth and maturity.

And so, like the Word today in the 5th chapter of the Apostle Paul’s first epistle to the Corinthians, though it talks about improper relationships affecting the spiritual life of the church, I’d like to point out the latter part of verse 6 to you, where it says, “…a little leaven leavens the whole lump (of dough)…”

May the words I wrote give some flavor to your daily living, and like a little pinch of yeast, may it help make the whole lump of dough that is your life rise up to greater views and deeper understanding of its spiritual and emotional elements, according to GOD’s will and plan for you and for all of us.

Once again, thank you for joining me in this monologue, and here’s hoping and thanking GOD for the better and the greater that are still to come.
